MAHLE SmartBike Systems is back at Eurobike 2022 with two exhibition areas to show and test its disruptive drive systems and connectivity solutions for the eBike industry.

From the 13th to the 17th of July, MAHLE SmartBike Systems will show the X20 System at Eurobike: the lightest, smartest and most integrated eBike system on the market.

What’s more, we will talk about the future of eGravel and hub drives in three Gravel Talks.
Take note of the dates: Wednesday the 13th and Friday the 15th from 2 p.m.-2:20 p.m. and Thursday the 14th from 12-12:20 p.m.
We will also participate in a discussion group on “Gravel powered: coming of the e-gravel boom” on Thursday the 14th at 3:20 p.m.
In addition, our X20 System has been selected by the public as a finalist for the Eurobike Innovators Prize. Join us for our presentations to the jury on Thursday the 14th at 5 p.m.
X20 face to face presentation
MAHLE SmartBike Systems will show off its latest trends for the eBike industry at its main booth, located at F18 Building 8. Divided into areas to show its innovations in each area, the company will present tailored solutions for shaping the future of mobility with Gravel, Road and Urban SmartBikes.
The spotlight will be on our recently launched X20 System, which was selected as a finalist in the “most innovative bicycle component” for the Eurobike Innovators Prize, a new industry benchmark for the power-to-weight ratio of eBike drives, weighing in at just 3.2 kilograms. This combination makes X20 a perfect solution for gravel cycling and for an advanced road experience.
In this main area, visitors can also see our complete range of smart accessories, such as the Range Extender e185 or the Active Charger, which enhance Smart Bikes.
There will also be a space for urban mobility. Our X35+ System, which perfectly combines lightness with power, provides the right support with a natural ride to make it an environmentally friendly solution for your daily commute.

For those interested in experiencing how it feels to ride the X20, we will have SmartBikes equipped with this system at our booth G24, within the Demo Area.
The sophisticated sensor package that measures acceleration, speed, torque, temperature and pedalling rate are just a few of the attributes that make the X20 a high efficiency system to offer a customized cycling experience to the rider, with a natural feeling pedal experience, much like a conventional high-performance sports bike, with noise-free support.
