Galfer, a leader in braking technology, has developed a prototype of the Disc Shark that combines braking performance and phonic ring technology in a single component. This innovation integrates a dedicated slot for the MAHLE speed sensor magnet, creating a cleaner and more robust solution for eMTB.
One Piece. Two Functions. Total Integration
Traditionally, speed sensors require separate mounts on the frame or hub. The Disc Shark eliminates this need by incorporating the magnet directly into the disc structure. This approach simplifies assembly, reduces exposed components, and improves sensor protection against dirt and impacts.
The integrated magnet works seamlessly with the MAHLE M40 System, delivering precise speed measurement and reliable performance for demanding off-road conditions.
