The main characteristic of the MAHLE X Series systems is the type of motor used, which is located on the rear wheel axle of the eBike.
The X Series consists of the following systems: X20, X30 and XS. Each of these systems has its own characteristics that make them optimal for each type of use or rider.
MAHLE X Series systems consist of a number of components that can be common or system-specific:
- Engine: The X Series is mainly characterised by its rear wheel hub engines.
- Battery: both internal batteries of different capacities and an external battery.
- Controller: both internal and external control systems.
- Interface: devices for cyclist – system interaction.
- Sensors: devices in charge of measuring different variables that determine the behaviour of the system.
- Cabling and wiring: necessary to interconnect all components.
- Accessories: optional elements that enhance the user experience.
