MAHLE X Series systems can supply power to an lighting system (optional). Make sure that the lights used are compatible and that a MAHLE-compatible control is used to activate or deactivate the lighting system.
There are 3 modes to control the lights:
- Automatic mode: with the ambient light sensor and depending on the ambient conditions, the main unit will automatically switch the lights on/off.
- Always on mode: the lights will remain on as long as the bike is not switched off.
- Manual mode: the user can take control over the activation of the lights at any time, either via the ANT+ LEV display or via the electronic gears if installed.

Manual lighting
Press and hold the corresponding eShifter button or the Pulsar ONE display button to turn on the lights, you will see a “lights on” animation illuminating in yellow. The LED bar will then return to show the battery status.
Manual light switch-off
Press and hold down the corresponding eShifter button or the Pulsar ONE display button to switch the lights off again. A “lights off” animation will be shown on the LED bar. If everything is OK, the LED bar will show the battery status again.
