Orbea positions the Gain as an eRoad bike for meaningful days out, with riders able to tackle more than 4,000 m of cumulative elevation gain. Battery options include internal iX2 (236 Wh) or iX3 (350 Wh), both compatible with the External Battery eX1 (171 Wh). Together, they expand usable range up to 200 km, with the X Active 4A charger enabling rapid top-ups (to 80% in under two hours for the internal battery). Whether training, exploring or riding in hilly terrain, the system prioritises real-world autonomy over headline numbers.

Great eRoad bikes must ride like great road bikes. The Gain’s road-focused geometry, stiffness and weight distribution, combined with the X20 System’s unobtrusive assistance, preserve cornering precision, out-of-the-saddle stability and a reactive feel on rolling terrain. It’s a bike you can race on Sunday and take for a long, exploratory midweek ride, simply choosing how much support you want.
Personalisation and model choice
Orbea’s MyO configurator lets riders tailor aesthetics and specifications, with finishes such as Carbon Raw, Dark Green, Golden Sand (Gloss), Lilac (Matt), Digital Lavender and Spicy Lime (Gloss). That flexibility pairs with X20 System components, from the Head Unit and Pulsar ONE display to eShifters, Duo Remote and selectable torque sensing, to create a setup that suits training goals, terrain and riding style.
