Understanding Gateway
Gateway is a compact interface that enables external devices to tap into the eBike’s main battery. It provides a direct and stable power supply and seamless communication between components via the CAN protocol. This solution is engineered to enhance overall system performance and flexibility.
First Integration: Pinion Smart Shift.
Our first collaboration leverages the Gateway to power Pinion’s Smart Shift system. By eliminating the need for a dedicated battery and speed sensor, this integration simplifies design and reduces weight. As long as the eBike is powered, Smart Shift remains fully operational, setting the stage for a truly integrated system.
