General system care

• Keep your eBike system clean and dry.

• Never wash any components of your eBike with a pressure washer or high-pressure cleaning system, as water entering the components may cause malfunctions, corrosion, or safety issues such as fire or explosion.

• Do not use aggressive cleaning products.

• To remove mud or other debris, do not use sharp or metallic objects that could damage the surface.

• Store your eBike in a cool, dry place with controlled temperature.

Standard environmental conditions for the system:

• Charging temperature: 1°C to 35°C

• Discharge temperature: -20°C to 60°C

• Relative humidity: 65% ±20%

To ensure proper charging, check the % charge on the Head Unit+ or connect the Pulsar ONE display or the MySmartbike app.

Energy consumption may increase significantly in winter, especially when temperatures drop below 0°C. Therefore, fully charge the eBike before any winter use and remember that the range may be reduced.

Motor care Before cleaning, make sure the cranks and chainring are correctly fitted and secure.

Battery care MAHLE system batteries use high-quality energy storage cells. Follow these guidelines to extend battery life:

• General:

  • Operate between 20–80% of battery capacity; full charge/discharge cycles may shorten lifespan.

  • Optimal relative humidity: 65% ±20%.

• During discharge (use):

  • Optimal temperature range: +20°C to +35°C.

  • Maximum range: -20°C to +60°C.

• During charging:

  • Optimal charging temperature: +20°C to +35°C.

  • Maximum charging temperature: +1°C to +35°C.

• During storage:

  • Optimal storage temperature: +20°C to +25°C.

  • For long-term storage, keep charge between 50–60%. Check every 3 months and recharge if necessary.

  • Avoid dropping below 30% charge for long periods.

  • Do not store at 100% charge for extended periods.

  • Do not leave the eBike exposed to sunlight for long periods.

  • Avoid temperatures below +10°C or above +80°C for prolonged times.

  • At startup, avoid using maximum assistance immediately; the battery must reach operating temperature first.

  • After long storage, fully charge the battery before use.

Active Charger care Disconnect the charger and all power supply before cleaning. The charger is intended exclusively for indoor use; do not expose it to humidity, rain, or snow.
