There are different levels of motor assistance that differ from each other in the power, acceleration and responsiveness they offer to the eBike. These levels offer a suitable user experience depending on the type of use of the eBike. Depending on the three aforementioned parameters, the eBike can have, among others, a behaviour in which battery saving, maximum power or acceleration predominate.
There are three pre-configured default levels of assistance and another called Smart Assist that will be enabled from the mobile application.
Level 0 – Unassisted | White |
Level 1 | Green |
Level 2 | Orange |
Level 3 | Purple |
Level 4 – Smart Assist | Blue |
The levels of assistance can be toggled using the following methods:
Main control system
To increase the level of assistance, briefly press the button on the main control unit and it will increase the level of assistance. Once the highest level of assistance is reached, the system will restart the unassisted cycle by pressing the button.
NOTICE
Before the eBike is switched off, the system saves the last selected assistance level, but if an error occurs before the eBike is switched off, the assistance level will be 0.
eShifters (optional)
The system will allow the optional addition of up to two push buttons called eShifters. These buttons can be installed on the handlebars and can be used to change the level of assistance while pedalling without taking your hands off the handlebars.
